Genie Code scheduled tasks are now generally available

Scheduled tasks allow you to program Genie Code prompts to run on a recurring basis in the background, turning repetitive analysis into automated routines. Each execution creates a new interactive chat session that you can open, review, or continue later. ### Use cases Imagine you need to run a daily check or summarize job statuses every morning without typing the command manually. With this feature, you can: - Schedule automatic prompt executions in Genie Code. - Create new chats with analysis results on every run. - Review or continue the conversation in the generated chat at any time. ### How to use You can create a scheduled task by chatting directly with Genie Code, selecting a suggested task in the schedules menu, or creating it manually. To create via chat, use natural language prompts: "Every morning at 6 AM, summarize the status of my overnight jobs." What happens in this code: 1. Genie Code interprets the natural language scheduling request. 2. The assistant asks clarifying time questions if needed. 3. The scheduled task is created to run automatically at the defined times. ### Limitations and requirements - The feature is generally available (GA). - Auto-approval is always on for scheduled runs, using an AI classifier to block risky actions. - Scheduled runs use the creator's permissions and count toward your Genie usage limits. - Scheduled tasks cannot be shared directly with other users, but individual run chats can be shared.
