Imagine you need to centralize audit events from Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID for security analysis in Databricks. With this managed connector, you can:
- Ingest audit events from workloads such as Exchange and SharePoint.
- Perform incremental ingestion of append-only audit events.
- Leverage Unity Catalog governance on ingested data.
Limitations and requirements
- This feature is in Beta.
- A workspace admin must enable the connector from the Previews page.
- UI-based pipeline authoring is not supported (only API and Bundles are supported).
- The connector uses OAuth machine-to-machine (M2M) authentication with Microsoft Entra ID.
- API-based row filtering and SCD Type 2 are not supported.
