How to use

Check your current Data Clean Rooms API version by running the following SQL command in your Snowflake environment.

SELECT * FROM SAMOOHA_BY_SNOWFLAKE_LOCAL_DB.ADMIN.VERSION;

What happens in this code:

1. Queries the local administration table of the Data Clean Rooms application.
2. Returns the currently active API version installed in the account.

Enable automatic updates for your API environment by running the following commands.

USE ROLE SAMOOHA_APP_ROLE;
CALL SAMOOHA_BY_SNOWFLAKE_LOCAL_DB.library.enable_local_db_auto_upgrades();

What happens in this code:

1. Sets the role to the Data Clean Rooms application role.
2. Calls the stored procedure to enable automatic local database upgrades.

Limitations and requirements

Available in supported Snowflake Data Clean Rooms regions. Not available in government and VPS deployments.
