Snowsight interface for tags and data protection policies

The Snowsight interface provides a centralized dashboard to administer data governance without relying solely on SQL commands. You can monitor tag coverage and the status of policies applied to tables, views, and columns directly from the UI. ### Use cases Imagine you need to audit which tables contain sensitive data or verify if all critical columns have active protection policies. With this feature, you can: - Visually create and apply tags to track data classification or resource usage. - Manage security policies and review them by protected object. - Track consolidated dashboards regarding your account's governance posture. ### Limitations and requirements This feature is generally available and requires Snowflake Enterprise Edition or higher. Certain tagging features and data protection capabilities depend on your account edition.
